Litecoin [LTC] Price Analysis: Flash crash induces volatility in the everlasting bear market, altcoins try to climb back up

All cryptocurrencies experienced a flash crash yesterday, causing prices to slip below the support line that was holding for a long time. The altcoins have taken quite a hit as the market struggles to climb back up from the grizzly attack.

At around 5:30 UTC yesterday, the prices experienced a dip, and the support at $51.26 that Litecoin was holding since September 2017 was broken. The prices fell to a low of $48.44, with a market cap at $2.8 billion. Since the slump, the prices have come up to $49.42. The prices have changed 0.31% in the short-term and seem to be improving as the bull steadily climbs back up.

The total change in a 24-hour period is still gory, as it is down by 5.15%. The prices started at a steady $51.87 and a strong market cap of $3.05 billion. The prices fell down from there to $48.76, with a market cap reduction of $200 million.

The seven-day change looks bleak with a percentage change of -7.33%. The prices were hanging at $52.26, with a market cap of $3.07 billion. However, the prices took an upswing to $52.86 and the market cap rose by $35 million on October 26.

The prices have been climbing since the slump and on October 30. The prices opened at $48.45 and have now reached $49.42. The market cap is at $2.8 billion.

EOS is among the coins that took a jab in the recent crash. The price before the slump was at a strong $5.41 with the market cap $4.9 billion, post-slump, the price fell to $5.15 and eventually reached $5.08 while market cap suffered a massive $300 million reduction. The bulls are trying to regain control, but the pressure from the bear is keeping the prices subdued.

The one-day percentage change was at a -0.17%. The 24-hour change is at -4.51% as the prices fell down from $5.39 to $5.08, and the market cap reduced to $4.6 billion from $4.9 million. Currently, the prices have covered the fall and climbed back up to $5.15.

The 7-day change followed the same trend as the 24-hour change, with a sharp drop seen to close to the $5.12 level after the slump yesterday. The price of the coin has been moving in a relatively stable pattern, with hikes seen during the week.
